AN ACT CONCERNING THE DESIGNATION OF STORMWATER SEWER SYSTEMS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from designating municipal separate stormwater sewer systems outside of urban areas that are not otherwise required by federal law.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from going beyond what is federally required in designating stormwater sewer systems.
