AN ACT EXPANDING THE SALES TAX EXEMPTION FOR MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND DEVICES TO INCLUDE FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (19) of section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to exempt feminine hygiene products from the sales tax pursuant to the exemption for medical supplies and devices.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt feminine hygiene products from the sales tax pursuant to the exemption for medical supplies and devices.
