AN ACT CONCERNING A COST OF LIVING INCREASE FOR NURSING FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
To amend title 17b of the general statutes to require that nursing facilities receive rate increases under the state medical assistance program (1) equal to cost of living increases given to Social Security recipients, and (2) to cover utilities and other costs not under the control of management at such facilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase payments to nursing facilities.
