AN ACT CONCERNING THANKSGIVING AND DOUBLE OVERTIME WAGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require certain employers who require employees to work on Thanksgiving to pay such employees at a rate of twice the overtime wage for any hours such employees work on Thanksgiving.
Statement of Purpose:
To save Thanksgiving and protect family values.
