AN ACT INCREASING THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR LOCAL VOLUNTEER EMERGENCY SERVICE PERSONNEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-81w of the general statutes be amended to increase the maximum amount of property tax abatement for local volunteer emergency service personnel, including, but not limited to, firefighters, from one thousand dollars to one thousand two hundred fifty dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the maximum amount of property tax abatement for local volunteer emergency service personnel, including, but not limited to, firefighters, from one thousand dollars to one thousand two hundred fifty dollars.
