AN ACT INCREASING THE PORTION OF MOVING VIOLATION FEES REMITTED TO MUNICIPALITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 51-56a of the general statutes be amended to require the state to remit an additional twenty-five dollars per fine collected for a moving violation to the municipality in which such violation occurred. Statement of Purpose: To increase the portion of revenue received by municipalities from the moving violation tickets issued within such municipality.
