AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR THE BARBELL CLUB IN NEW HAVEN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of four million dollars be appropriated to the city of New Haven, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, for a grant to the Barbell Club for renovations that would allow such club to serve the hill section of New Haven as a community center for after-school programming.
Statement of Purpose:
To renovate the Barbell Club for after-school programs.
