2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

3030 That section 19a-490i of the general statutes be amended to require on-site medical interpreters for any acute-care hospital with not less than five per cent of the population residing in the geographic area served by the hospital having a primary language other than English and any adverse events reported for patients with a primary language other than English.
