AN ACT REQUIRING THE CREATION OF AN ONLINE DATABASE FOR THE PROCESSING OF DEATH CERTIFICATES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Public Health to create an online database for the processing of death certificates.

Statement of Purpose: 

To require the creation of an online database to streamline and accelerate the death certificate process for funeral directors.
