AN ACT REQUIRING A GUARDRAIL ALONG ROUTE 154.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Transportation to construct a guardrail to prevent parking along Route 154 in the vicinity of the causeway over South Cove in the town of Old Saybrook.
Statement of Purpose:
To preserve the delicate ecosystem present in wetlands and to address extensive waste and traffic issues along a section of Route 154.
