AN ACT REQUIRING A PRIORITY SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Transportation to create a system by which projects are prioritized in order to concentrate on, and give higher priority to, existing transportation infrastructure and replacement of roads and rails, as opposed to development of new projects.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Transportation to prioritize transportation infrastructure projects.
