AN ACT INCREASING THE PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCE FOR LONG-TERM CARE RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 17b-106 and 17b-272 of the general statutes be amended to increase the personal needs allowance of long-term care residents from sixty to seventy-two dollars per month.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide sufficient funding for personal needs for residents of long-term care facilities who are receiving state medical assistance.
