AN ACT IMPOSING A TWO-YEAR MORATORIUM ON NEW UNFUNDED MANDATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 16 of the general statutes be amended to impose a moratorium for a period of two years on any new mandates to a municipality for which no state reimbursement is provided.
Statement of Purpose:
To impose a two-year moratorium on unfunded state mandates to municipalities.
