AN ACT CONCERNING OVERSIGHT OF INVESTMENTS OF PENSION FUNDS BY THE INVESTMENT ADVISORY COUNCIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the State Treasurer from making any investments of funds in any state employee pension fund without the majority approval of the members of the Investment Advisory Council.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide oversight by the Investment Advisory Council over investments of pension fund assets by the State Treasurer.
