AN ACT CONCERNING GRANDPARENT CARETAKER STIPENDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17 of the general statutes be amended to provide grandparents with a stipend similar to foster parents when they take custody of grandchildren who have been placed into state care.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist grandparents who assume custody.
