AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF A MENTAL HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE AS PART OF A STUDENT HEALTH ASSESSMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-206 of the general statutes be amended to include, as part of the health assessment, a mental health questionnaire to be completed by the parent or guardian of a student.
Statement of Purpose:
To require parents or guardians to complete a mental health questionnaire as part of a student health assessment for purposes of having a doctor determine whether a student should be referred to a mental health specialist.
