AN ACT PROHIBITING THE DISCLOSURE OF STUDENT INFORMATION ONLINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit online educational web sites, services and mobile applications from marketing, advertising or disclosing personal information of students in grades kindergarten to twelve, inclusive.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect personal information of students under the age of eighteen.
