AN ACT CONCERNING THE SUBMISSION OF BUDGET AND AUDIT INFORMATION OF REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTERS TO MEMBER TOWNS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-66g of the general statutes be amended to require each regional educational service center operating an interdistrict magnet school program to submit its yearly budget and annual audit to the board of education for each member town and to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to education, in accordance with the provisions of the section 11-4a of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve the sharing of budget and audit information between regional educational service centers and its member towns.
