AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION COMPANY RATE MAKING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 16 of the general statutes be amended (1) to cap electric distribution companies' residential fixed charge at not more than ten dollars per billing cycle; and (2) to cap the small general electric service fixed customer charge at not more than twenty-five dollars per billing cycle.
Statement of Purpose:
To lower electric bills, protect senior citizens and promote renewable energy.
