AN ACT ESTABLISHING CRITERIA FOR THE BONDING OF TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to bonding to develop criteria for each future bond authorization, which criteria shall place infrastructure improvements on the Metro-North New Haven Line and its branches as the top priority among rail-related transportation projects.
Statement of Purpose:
To make certain commuter railroad infrastructure improvements the top priority among rail-related transportation projects.
