3232 AN ACT LIMITING PARTY COMMITTEE ORGANIZATIONAL EXPENDITURES FOR THE BENEFIT OF CERTAIN CANDIDATES PARTICIPATING IN THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.

3434 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

3636 That section 9-718 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit party committees from making organizational expenditures for the benefit of a participating candidate or the candidate committee of a participating candidate in the Citizens' Election program (1) for the office of Governor in an amount that exceeds two hundred fifty thousand dollars, and (2) for the office of Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of the State, State Comptroller or State Treasurer in an amount that exceeds seventy-five thousand dollars.
