28 | 28 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

30 | 30 | That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to require (1) the holding of a public hearing before the relocation of any polling place by the registrars of voters of a town, provided such public hearing shall not be required when such relocation occurs due to emergency, (2) that the registrars of voters shall hold such public hearing not more than ninety days before the proposed relocation, and (3) that the registrars of voters shall give notice at least twice of such public hearing by publication in a newspaper published or circulated in such town (A) not more than fourteen nor less than seven days before such public hearing, and (B) not less than five days apart. | |
