AN ACT CONCERNING PARTY SELECTION ON VOTER REGISTRATION FORMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 143 of the general statutes be amended to require that applications for admission as an elector list as options for the applicant's party affiliation any political party or organization that has qualified as a minor party, as defined in section 9-372 of the general statutes, for an office for which the applicant would be eligible to vote if admitted.
Statement of Purpose:
To include qualified minor parties on voter registration forms.
