2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That chapter 153 of the general statutes be amended to require that, upon any certification filed with the appropriate authority for the purpose of securing a nomination or position on a ballot, a candidate for elective office shall disclose any criminal charge pending against such candidate in Connecticut or in any other jurisdiction.
