26 | 26 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

28 | 28 | That (1) the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate ten million dollars, provided (A) five million dollars of said authorization shall be effective July 1, 2015, (B) two million five hundred thousand dollars of said authorization shall be effective July 1, 2016, and (C) two million five hundred thousand dollars of said authorization shall be effective July 1, 2017; and (2) the proceeds of such bonds shall be used by the Minority Construction Council, Inc. for the purpose of providing an integrated bonding and finance program for minority contractors working on state and municipal construction projects in the state. | |
