AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDENT'S RIGHT TO COUNSEL AT HIGHER EDUCATION DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require institutions of higher education in this state to afford students facing disciplinary proceedings the right to the representation of counsel at such proceedings.
Statement of Purpose:
To guarantee a student's rights under the sixth amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
