AN ACT CONCERNING URBAN ACTION BONDS TO DISTRESSED MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4-66c of the general statutes be amended to provide twenty-five per cent of the proceeds from the sale of urban action bonds to distressed municipalities for the development of housing rehabilitation programs that provide grants or interest loans to owners of residential properties with four units or less.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to municipalities to develop and fund housing rehabilitation programs in distressed municipalities.
