AN ACT CONCERNING THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE AND THE ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFER ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 42a-4a-108 of the general statutes be amended to provide that article 4A does apply to a remittance transfer that is not an electronic funds transfer under the federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act.
Statement of Purpose:
To amend section 42a-4a-108 in order to adopt the 2012 Uniform Commercial Code amendments, which provide that article 4A does apply to a remittance transfer that is not an electronic funds transfer under the federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act.
