AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF RESTRAINTS ON CHILDREN APPEARING IN JUVENILE COURT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 815t of the general statutes be amended to establish protocols for the use of shackles or other method of restraint on a child who appears in Juvenile Court.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish protocols for the use of shackles or other method of restraint on a child who appears in Juvenile Court.
