AN ACT CONCERNING DISCLOSURE OF CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS MAINTAINING A FINANCIAL INTEREST IN A LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 613 of the general statutes be amended to provide that: (1) Any application for incorporation as a limited liability corporation shall include the name, address and telephone number of any individual or entity that has a twenty per cent or greater financial interest in the limited liability company; and (2) the Secretary of the State shall post for public access the information described in subdivision (1) on the Secretary's Internet web site.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide increased public transparency with respect to the establishment of a limited liability company.
