28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to cap property tax increases to a percentage not to exceed the corresponding Social Security per cent increases in the most recent benefit year for seniors and individuals living on a fixed percentage who (1) have lived in the municipality for ten years; and (2) derive at least two-thirds of their net income from Social Security. | |
