AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEMOLITION OF NUISANCE OR DISTRESSED PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 7 of the general statutes be amended to allow a municipal fire chief or director of health to issue an emergency order requiring that a distressed property or nuisance property be demolished.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipal fire chiefs and directors of health to issue emergency demolition orders.
