1224 AN ACT CONCERNING PEDIATRIC VISION SCREENING.

1426 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

16-Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2015) Each primary care provider, as defined in section 19a-7o of the general statutes, serving children in this state, excluding a hospital emergency department and its staff, shall provide an annual vision screening to each patient who is not yet eligible to enroll in kindergarten pursuant to section 10-184 of the general statutes, beginning at one year of age until such time as such child enrolls in kindergarten.
