AN ACT CONCERNING ORGAN AND TISSUE DONATION AWARENESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) establish an organ and tissue awareness donation fund to which residents of the state may contribute by marking a box on their motor vehicle registration form and submitting the contribution to the fund with their registration fee, and (2) provide that funds deposited in the organ and tissue awareness donation fund be used by various organizations to promote organ and tissue donation awareness.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase awareness of organ and tissue donation.
