AN ACT CONCERNING THE LICENSING REQUIREMENTS FOR BARBERS AND HAIRDRESSERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 20 of the general statutes be amended to enable barbers and hairstylists licensed in another state or country who seek a license to work as a barber or hairdresser in Connecticut to receive some benefit in the licensing process for having an out-of-state license.

Statement of Purpose: 

To revise the licensing requirements for those seeking a license to work as a barber or hairdresser in Connecticut.
