AN ACT CONCERNING SAFE STREETS WITHIN LOCAL HISTORIC DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a speed limit of thirty miles per hour in historic districts, in addition to mandating "no passing" zones in such districts.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of both drivers and pedestrians within the constraints of local historic districts.
