AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF LAND VALUE CAPTURE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Department of Transportation, the Department of Economic and Community Development and the Office of Policy and Management study the feasibility of land value capture to fund infrastructure projects such as rail upgrades, as well as current and future transit-oriented development corridors.
Statement of Purpose:
To study the public policy implications for land value capture in Connecticut in order to fund long-term transportation infrastructure projects.
