AN ACT CONCERNING LICENSE RENEWAL BY PERSONS WITH OLD, OUTSTANDING OUT-OF-STATE TICKETS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize the Department of Motor Vehicles to renew the motor vehicle operator's licenses of persons to whom a ticket was issued by an out-of-state entity, notwithstanding such ticket remains unpaid, provided such ticket was issued more than ten years prior to such person's application for renewal.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow persons with old, outstanding, out-of-state tickets to renew their driver's license.
