AN ACT CREATING A DESIGNATION OF "COUNTRY ROAD".
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a process and criteria by which towns can apply to have the State Traffic Commission designate what would be known as a "country road" for purposes of determining elevated fines for speeding.
Statement of Purpose:
To make specified roads safer for recreational activities such as bike riding, walking and jogging.
