AN ACT EXEMPTING VETERANS FROM THE SURCHARGE FOR VETERAN'S LICENSE PLATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-20b of the general statutes be amended to allow an honorably-discharged veteran to apply for and renew veteran's license plates without paying the surcharge for a commemorative license plate.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow our veterans to get veteran's license plates at no extra charge.
