AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAL COSTS OF CERTAIN VETERAN AMPUTEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 506 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Veterans' Affairs to cover the cost of medical services or equipment relating to the loss in service of an arm or leg when such medical services or equipment are not covered by the Federal Department of Veterans' Affairs.
Statement of Purpose:
To cover the costs of service and equipment for combat-wounded amputees.
