AN ACT LIMITING THE STUDENT DATA THAT THE P20 WIN COUNCIL CAN COLLECT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to limit the student data that may be collected by the P20 WIN Council, for purposes of inclusion in a state-wide longitudinal data system, to only those educational records permitted to be collected under federal law.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect student privacy.
