AN ACT CONCERNING THE PLACEMENT OF CHILDREN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to ensure that a child is not transferred to the custody of the Department of Correction unless such child's case is transferred to the regular criminal docket pursuant to section 46b-127 of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that a child is not transferred to the custody of the Department of Correction unless such child's case is transferred to the adult criminal docket.
