AN ACT CONCERNING ASSAULT OF SECURITY GUARDS AND LOSS PREVENTION AGENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 53a-167c of the general statutes be amended to add security guards and loss prevention agents to the list of victims of assault for which there is an elevated penalty for committing such assault.
Statement of Purpose:
To offer a higher degree of safety and protection for those who work as security guards and loss prevention personnel.
