AN ACT CONCERNING BACKGROUND CHECKS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that any background check conducted include a national background check, including, but not limited to, any background check done in the case of issuance of an identification card to an undocumented immigrant or for the issuance of a permit for a weapon.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand background checks in Connecticut to include a nation-wide background check.
