2424 AN ACT CONCERNING FINANCIAL LITERACY INSTRUCTION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education, in consultation with the Department of Banking, to (1) develop a financial literacy curriculum that includes, but is not limited to, the use of credit cards and debit cards, and (2) develop a plan to require that every student in high school complete a financial literacy course during his or her senior year.
