AN ACT CONCERNING EFFORTS TO ADDRESS CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to create a definition of chronic absenteeism, require data collection relating to absenteeism and to provide intervention and services for children in preschool programs.
Statement of Purpose:
To better address issues relating to chronic absenteeism.
