AN ACT REQUIRING ASSET VERIFICATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONNECTICUT ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 16a of the general statutes be amended to require asset verification for participation in the Connecticut energy assistance program.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate fraud, making energy assistance more readily available for those who need it most.
