3838 AN ACT CONVEYING THE FORT HALE PARK PIER TO THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN AND AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR ITS REPAIR.

4040 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

4242 That the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection be required to convey the Fort Hale Park Pier located in the city of New Haven to the city of New Haven for recreational purposes, and that the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate one million four hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the city of New Haven for the necessary repairs to said pier.
