AN ACT REQUIRING A PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE A BOARD OF EDUCATION ENTERS INTO AN AGREEMENT TO ESTABLISH A REGIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION CENTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-64 of the general statutes be amended to require a local or regional board of education to hold a public hearing prior to such board entering into an agreement to establish a regional agricultural science and technology education center with other boards of education.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase transparency and accountability regarding Vo-Ag programs.
